Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling - Dangerous Times at Hogwarts

by dragonfire88, top reviewer in Books ,  Jun 18, 2003
Pros: Returning characters. Engrossing plot.
Cons: Some people may think the book is too dark.
The Bottom Line: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was another wonderful book in the Harry Potter series. Fans of the first books should also like this one.

Harry Potter comes of age

by captaind,  Jun 29, 2005
Pros: Brilliantly written, interesting characters, complex plot, consistently amusing
Cons: Perhaps one unlikely plot element (see comments)
The Bottom Line: STILL my favourite in the series. Excellent stuff, and not just for kids.

Dark prisoner

by hist, top reviewer in Books ,  Jul 16, 2003
Pros: Great writing and wonderful characters. Really good story too
Cons: Professor Trelawney, and could somebody tell me the point of Harry's family?
The Bottom Line: The bottom line went to wizard school and unfortunately turned itself invisible permanently. The search goes on.

Harry Potter 3 in 2003 !!! (Okay...it'll be Summer 2004...)

by JediKermit, top reviewer in Books ,  Apr 11, 2002
Pros: Expands on Harry, Hermione, and the faculty at Hogwarts...mysteries deepen.
Cons: May be too confusing, too complicated, and too violent for young readers.
The Bottom Line: So glad Harry's not an American Wizard. I wouldn't be able to stand an Alabaman Abacadraba.
