Pros: Returning characters. Engrossing plot.
Cons: Some people may think the book is too dark.
The Bottom Line: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was another wonderful book in the Harry Potter series. Fans of the first books should also like this one.

Pros: Brilliantly written, interesting characters, complex plot, consistently amusing
Cons: Perhaps one unlikely plot element (see comments)
The Bottom Line: STILL my favourite in the series.
Excellent stuff, and not just for kids.

Pros: Great writing and wonderful characters. Really good story too
Cons: Professor Trelawney, and could somebody tell me the point of Harry's family?
The Bottom Line: The bottom line went to wizard school and unfortunately turned itself invisible permanently. The search goes on.

Pros: Expands on Harry, Hermione, and the faculty at Hogwarts...mysteries deepen.
Cons: May be too confusing, too complicated, and too violent for young readers.
The Bottom Line: So glad Harry's not an American Wizard. I wouldn't be able to stand an Alabaman Abacadraba.

Pros: Engaging plot, overall wonderful story
Cons: May be frightening for children- more frightening than Chamber of Secrets.
The Bottom Line: Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book in the series (so far). Read my review to find out why.
