Pros: Great music from a genius.
Cons: A few "experiments" along the way.
The Bottom Line: John Williams wrote the music to some of our best waking dreams. Get this and go relive the dreams all over. And dream new ones.

Pros: Some of the best tracks from 30 years' worth of film and special occasion music.
Cons: Musically, none. But those slimline packages are not my favorites.
The Bottom Line: If Williams is still around in '09, Sony Classical better come out with a 40-year retrospective half as good as this one! This is a great buy for Williams' fans.

Pros: It's some of the greatest film music of all time.
Cons: There are no cons.
The Bottom Line: Listen to every piece in this collection, and try to visualize what he was trying to get across in that movie.
