Pros: Astounding musicianship, frank lyricism, lots of variety
Cons: Slightly dated production, harrowing mental images (though that's less a con and more a warning)
The Bottom Line: Musically, it's not her best work, but it's darn close, and it gets mad props for being the one that started it all. Excellent.

Pros: The piano, beautiful. The voice, hair-raising. The words, ingenious.
Cons: Rumor has it that unrestrained, vividly expressed feelings aren't always easy to listen to.
The Bottom Line: Buy Little Earthquakes, as it is mind-blowing. Just don't spill orange juice on your copy, like I did.
