Pros: "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" is my favorite
Cons: a bit taunting, can be daunting
The Bottom Line: The most accessible Mingus album can still be dauntingly abrasive.

Pros: Mingus at his most prolific
Cons: The "cleaned-up" version of Fables of Faubus
The Bottom Line: Even if you don't think you like Mingus' music, go out and buy this album and you will be converted!
