Pros: Very enjoyable and engaging listen, regardless of all the hype
Cons: The hype surrounding it may taint your expectations if you let it
The Bottom Line: Overrated/overhyped? Possibly. Enjoyable? Enthralling? Great? Definitely.

Pros: Guitars, songwriting, tasty melodies, drumming, bass, production, ages very well.
Cons: "Territorial P*ssings" and "Stay Away" are kind of bad...but that makes them even better.
The Bottom Line: Nevermind is, simply put, one of the essential pieces of any music collection. Its impact never wears thin.

Pros: Classic Snapshot of Grunges' Greatest Band.
Cons: All Those Copycats.
The Bottom Line: Kurt Cobain's loss is still profound but his statement of intent stands the test of time.

Pros: The defining moment of nineties rock music
Cons: The "soft-loud" dynamic can get a bit predictable at times; a few weak tracks.
The Bottom Line: Believe the hype; Nevermind is an early nineties classic, although it isn't the group's best effort by any stretch of the imagination

Pros: The best album from one of the best bands ever.
Cons: It's hard to think of any...too short maybe?
The Bottom Line: Brilliant. Great guitar riffs and solos, incredible bass lines and extremely powerful drumming all combine to elevate this above anything else Nirvana have done.

Pros: A Breakthrough... Punk came back (if only temporarily)
Cons: Came under criticism by more die-hard punk fans for selling out
The Bottom Line: Quite simply, it has been voted by all major publications in the top 10 albums of all time. There is a reason.
